Willkommen

Gratis, ohne Werbung, ohne Konto, ohne Tracking.

Benvenuti

Gratuita, senza pubblicità, senza account, senza tracciamento.

Aiuto

È un’app di un’autorità? No. Benvenuti è un’app indipendente e gratuita.

L’app funziona senza Internet?

Welcome

Free, no ads, no account, no tracking. Welcome explains everyday life in Switzerland in plain words: what matters in the first days, where to find help, how doctors, trains, shopping and offices work. Emergency numbers and articles also work without internet. In English, German, French and Italian, for iPhone and iPad.

Help

Is this an app of the authorities? No. Welcome is an independent, free app. It explains in its own words and, for anything binding, leads you to the office in charge: the Confederation, the canton, the commune or charities.

Where does the information come from? Every article lists its sources with publisher and date checked, official bodies first. Texts and translations were written with the help of AI and checked against these sources. Only the offices themselves are binding.

Change the language: on the home screen, tap the globe at the top right. The app’s language does not depend on your iPhone’s language.

Change canton or situation: on the home screen, tap the place below “Welcome”, or in “My canton” tap “Change canton”.

Does the app work without internet? Yes: emergency numbers, articles, phrase cards and words are in the app. Only links to other websites and apps need internet.

I need help with my situation. In an emergency, call 112, 117 or 144. For advice, every article lists suitable services under “Good help”. The address below is only for questions about the app; I cannot give advice.

Found a mistake? Write to [email protected], ideally with the article and what is wrong.
